My passion for written language first showed when I learned reading and writing unsually early as a child.
I have been creating fictional plots, worlds and characters and writing them down as stories ever since.
What I Offer
- I have over a decade of experience in writing fiction, starting out with prose and later specializing in video game screenplays.
- Although I can improvise if needed, I usually start working on stories by iteratively fleshing out plot, characters and worldbuilding, creating summaries and character profiles as well as sample scenes and/or dialogue.
- I am familiar with established guidelines and methods for narrative design, such as the Hero's Journey, the classical five-act structure and the Snowflake Method.
- I take great care to express each character's individual personality and emotions through the style, tone and content of their dialogue.
- As the effort put into this website shows, I have a passion for working with words and language. In addition to writing fiction, I enjoy writing essays, promotional text, loglines, scientific papers and documentations.
- I am proficient in writing in both English and German.
